A short drive from Marrakech and you will find the Atlas Mountains. Picturesque villages, stunning views and amazing cuisine will make for a special trekking experience. The highest mountain is Jbel Toubkal and is one of our objectives for the week. A steady four days of acclimatization and trekking  will ensure that everybody is in the best possible condition to summit the 4167m peak which offers panoramic views as far as the Sahara.
During this trek I will aim to provide the best possible service whilst ensuring that you can experience all that Morocco has to offer. I have carefully chosen the route, picked the accommodation and employed to staff to ensure that this expedition meets all of your expectations and that you have the best possibility of reaching the summit.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I've never used a map or compass, will this course be ok for me?
This workshop is aimed at all levels from beginners to advanced. You will be given guidance and instruction throughout the day to ensure you come away with some new skills.

I’m not very fit, how far do we walk?
The workshop aim is to teach you navigation skills not push your physical limits. We normally walk around 10-12 km during the day and have plenty of breaks and stops.

Do you provide equipment?
I can provide maps on request but would always recommend buying your own and a Silva Type 4 Compass. For the day you will only require normal hiking gear and waterproofs.
